The Green Restaurant Association (GRA) was chosen by the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission to green the Meadowlands Region Restaurants in preparation for the 2014 Super Bowl and beyond. Under this Region 2 EPA Grant, the GRA is focusing on helping the region's restaurants dramatically improve their environmental impact in the areas of energy, water, chemicals, disposables, food, waste, and building.  The GRA, a national nonprofit organization founded in 1990, helps restaurants in 42 states and Canada to lower their environmental impact through practical and quantifiable changes.  To learn more about the GRA, go to
